I carve stone, mostly marble. The sculptures are both indoor and outdoor pieces. the images are archetypal, symbolic, and metaphorical. These are created from many journeys revealed in my dreams, my travels to foreign countries and my experiences from every day life.

I am an abstract painter whose art is inspired by the inherent power found within the ever changing elements of nature. I am drawn to the landscape. It provides me with an opportunity to explore the relationship between our ground, that which is beneath us and supporting us, and the heavens, defined by the atmospheric splendor surrounding us. My paintings are about the spaces in between forms, color, texture, and light. Earth and sky.
